Anglican Church Wellington 150th Birthday

The Anglican Church in Wellington will be celebrating 150 years since the laying of the foundation stone on the weekend of 8th and 9th April 2017.  

A weekend of celebration is planned and includes on Saturday a mini-fete from 10am
and a concert showcasing local talent from 2pm. This will be followed by High Tea.  

On Sunday, a celebratory church service at 10am will be presided by Bishop Ian Palmer.
This will be followed by lunch.  

During the weekend there will be a display of photos and memorabilia in the hall.
We are looking particularly for photos of weddings that have taken place in the church.  

The concert and lunch are free of charge.

Australian Red Cross Blood Service News

This week Dubbo Blood Donor Centre is 30 donations short of what is needed to support patients in need.

Orange Blood Donor Centre is 20 donations short of what is needed.
It is vital these appointments are filled to ensure supplies.

Dubbo Farmers Markets | 1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month

On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month - rain, hail or shine locals and visitors alike get together to enjoy and appreciate the feast of fresher, tastier produce from your local producers. 

Held from 8 am to 12 noon on the lawn of the home of the Dubbo Farmers Market, The Macquarie Lions Park, situated behind the Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Newell Highway and Macquarie Street, Dubbo. 

The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. 

There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more. 

Enjoy our fresh breakfast and coffee options with family and friends before you start exploring the regional produce, sampling and taking home all the goodies you will need to prepare your own gourmet dishes at home.

Dubbo Wagon Wheel Club - Swap Meet and Market Day

Come along to the Swap Meet and Market Day for a fun day out at the Wongarbon Park via Dubbo on Sunday March 19th 2017. Commencing at 8:00am to 1:00pm.

Narromine Car Club

Narromine Charity Motor Show & Shine is on Sunday 19th March from 8:00am-2:00pm.
(Judging starts at 10:00am)

At the Narromine Aero Club, Mitchell Highway.

Cost of $10 per vehicle to be judged - If its got wheels bring it!!
Entry to the show is $2 per person with children under 12 free!!

There will be competitions with trophies and Grand Champion awards for the day.

As well as activities for the kids, food and drinks will also be available.

All proceeds from the day go to local charities. 

NSW State Championship Sheep Dog Trials

Molong Sheep Dog Workers Committee are hosting the State Championship Trails 

When: Tuesday, 21st March, 2017 - Saturday 25th, March 2017. 
Where: Dr Ross Memorial Recreation Ground, Mitchell Highway, Molong.

Spectators are welcome with FREE ENTRY. Trailing from 9am to 4pm (approx)
