Dubbo Farmers Markets | 1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month
On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month - rain, hail or shine locals and visitors alike get together to enjoy and appreciate the feast of fresher, tastier produce from your local producers.
Held from 8 am to 12 noon on the lawn of the home of the Dubbo Farmers Market, The Macquarie Lions Park, situated behind the Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Newell Highway and Macquarie Street, Dubbo.
The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants.
There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more.
Enjoy our fresh breakfast and coffee options with family and friends before you start exploring the regional produce, sampling and taking home all the goodies you will need to prepare your own gourmet dishes at home.
Dubbo Stroke Support Group
The next monthly get-together of the Dubbo Stroke Support Group will be held on Wednesday 13th June, 2018. At the David Palmer Centre, Old Lourdes Hospital, 84 Cobborah Road, Dubbo.

Rotary Book Fair
20,000 books for sale at the biggest Book Fair west of the Blue Mountains on Saturday 26th May 2018 from 8am to 4pm and on Sunday 27th May 2018 from 9am to 1pm at the Centenary Pavilion at the Dubbo Showground in Wingewarra Street Dubbo.

Salvation Army - Red Shield Doorknock
The Salvation Army is asking Australians to spare a few hours over
the weekend of May 26th - 27th to collect for its annual Red Shield Door knock.
The Salvation Army is urging community groups, churches, scout or guide groups
and all ideal organisations to lend a hand. Local sporting teams and work places can easily
get involved with the appeal, as too can anybody wanting to help Aussies in need.
The weekend of the big door knock nationwide is Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th May, 2018.
