Anglican Church Wellington 150th Birthday
The Anglican Church in Wellington will be celebrating 150 years since the laying of the foundation stone on the weekend of 8th and 9th April 2017.
A weekend of celebration is planned and includes on Saturday a mini-fete from 10am
and a concert showcasing local talent from 2pm. This will be followed by High Tea.
On Sunday, a celebratory church service at 10am will be presided by Bishop Ian Palmer.
This will be followed by lunch.
During the weekend there will be a display of photos and memorabilia in the hall.
We are looking particularly for photos of weddings that have taken place in the church.
The concert and lunch are free of charge.

Challenge Community Services Dubbo NDIS Information Session
Challenge Community Services will be holding a National Disability Insurance Scheme and Person Centered Planning information session on Tuesday the 4th of April from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. With finger food to follow at the Macquarie Inn, Cnr Wheelers Lane and Birch Avenue, Dubbo.
This session will be an opportunity for members of the community to ask questions and learn first-hand what the NDIS will mean for all Australians. This session will cover:
- What can you do to get ready for the NDIS?
- How can Challenge help you get ready for the NDIS?
- Q&A session with experienced staff from NDIS trial sites.

Dubbo Farmers Markets | 1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month

Held from 8 am to 12 noon on the lawn of the home of the Dubbo Farmers Market, The Macquarie Lions Park, situated behind the Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Newell Highway and Macquarie Street, Dubbo.
The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants.
There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more.

Dubbo Oncology Morning Tea
Orana Baptist Church in Palmer Street will be holding a morning tea fundraiser to support the Oncology Unit at Dubbo Base Hospital on Tuesday 4th April from 10:00am till 12:00 noon.
