Get involved with the fast growing hobby in the world. Discover the world of board gaming with the Above Board Gamers. Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month meet new people, play new games and have a great night at the Pipe Band Hall on Darling Street.

Central West Makers Place

Makers Place is run by volunteers who activate the principles of the Maker Movement.
Our community consists of like-minded people who are passionate about innovating,
creating and collaborating. 

We provide access to equipment, a safe environment, Wi-Fi and the knowledge that most Makers don't have in their own kit. In exchange for a monthly membership fee.

Sessions are on every Friday from midday to 6pm at The South Dubbo Veterans & Community Menshed, corner of Palmer and High streets, Dubbo.

Dubbo AFL Training

Dubbo AFL is back for training from Thursday 16th  November to the 19th of December
and its free to join until the end of the year to get a taste of Australia's own game.

It's for both Men's and Women's teams playing in AFL Central West as the Dubbo Demons.

If you're new to town or always wanted to play AFL Dubbo AFL train
7pm Tuesday and Thursday for Mens and 7pm Thursdays for Womens.

Location of training is South Dubbo Oval, Boundary Road.



Dubbo Farmers Markets | 1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month

On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month - rain, hail or shine locals and visitors alike get together to enjoy and appreciate the feast of fresher, tastier produce from your local producers. 


Held from 8 am to 12 noon on the lawn of the home of the Dubbo Farmers Market, The Macquarie Lions Park, situated behind the Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Newell Highway and Macquarie Street, Dubbo. 

The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. 

There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more. 

Enjoy our fresh breakfast and coffee options with family and friends before you start exploring the regional produce, sampling and taking home all the goodies you will need to prepare your own gourmet dishes at home.



Dubbo Parkinson's Support Group

Meets at the David Palmer Centre, Old Lourdes Hospital. 

On the first Friday of each month at 10:30am.

People with Parkinson's and their carers are welcome.

Dubbo Wagon Wheel Club Luncheon

Come down to the Masonic Hall on Church Street, Dubbo on Sunday 26th November
for a Luncheon commencing at 12 noon. Cost $12.00 with a lucky door prize.

Elders Outreach Group Open Day

Dubbo Elders Outreach Group are having an open day at Holy Trinity Church Hall 158 Brisbane Street on Tuesday 21st November from 11am to 2pm. 

Come along and join us for a free Devonshire tea and have a look at the crafts the Elders group have been busy making. All of the craft items will be for sale.



Eumungerie Old Time/New Vogue Dance

Is always on the FIRST and THIRD Saturday of the Month.

Free Pre Natal Yoga Class

Yoga by Jac is holding a free pre natal yoga class every Thursday night for expectant mums. 

Classes are held at Dubbo Early Learning Centre in Blueridge Estate from 6:30 to 7:00pm.

Fresh Arts - Art Exhibition

Fresh Arts Inc. will be holding their art exhibition for 2017.
Held at Ramiens Timber Co. Showroom, North Dubbo during November & December.

Official opening - Friday November 3, 6pm in the showroom.
Refreshments and canapes supplied by Fresh Arts, all interested people are invited to attend. 

All works are for sale and the artist's name and contact details will be displayed next to each piece of artwork. 



Gilgandra C.W.A Market Day

Gilgandra C.W.A Market Day will always be on the first Saturday of the month at the Gilgandra Community Plaza in Miller Street, starting at 9am to 1pm. 

With new and pre loved goods, Collectables, woodcraft, leather goods, crafts, cakes, plants, jewellery, Bric a Brack plus fresh produce from oranges to olives and much more.  

All stall holders welcome - cost $5.00 per table.

Mystery Box Rally departs Dubbo

Come see the colourful collection of dressed-up cars, all 25 years old or older.
Leaving Dubbo Showground on Saturday 25th November on Mystery Box Rally,
the highly successful Cancer Council fundraiser. 

Each day’s route is a mystery, revealed only on the morning of their travel!
From 8am on 25th November, please join us in waving them off on their mystery route.
Cars will return to the Dubbo Showground days later on 29th November.



Palliative Care Ecumenical Remembrance Service

Will be held at The Lourdes Hospital Chapel on Friday 24th November, 2017 at 10:30am.

Families, carers and friends of palliative care patients are welcome to join us for the service and afterwards for morning tea.
