Dubbo Farmers Markets | 1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month

On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month - rain, hail or shine locals and visitors alike get together to enjoy and appreciate the feast of fresher, tastier produce from your local producers. 

Held from 8 am to 12 noon on the lawn of the home of the Dubbo Farmers Market, The Macquarie Lions Park, situated behind the Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Newell Highway and Macquarie Street, Dubbo. 

The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. 

There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more. 

Enjoy our fresh breakfast and coffee options with family and friends before you start exploring the regional produce, sampling and taking home all the goodies you will need to prepare your own gourmet dishes at home.

Gilgandra C.W.A Markets | 1st Saturday of Every Month

Held at Gilgandra Community Plaza in Miller Street. From  9am until 1pm.

New and Pre loved goods | Cakes | Jewellery | Many more various stalls.

Coo-ee Lodge Ladies sell Bacon & Egg Rolls for $5 each.

All stall holders welcome - cost $5.00 per table.

Education Workshop

An Educational Workshop is being held at Gilgandra District Hospital by Pure Potential Occupational Therapy Services & Empower Exercise Physiology and Nutrition

Thursday 16th January at Gilgandra District Hospital from 9am-11am

$10 entry, includes Morning Tea

Topics covered; Falls Prevention | Manual Handling | Exercise is Medicine & Nutrition

This education workshop will benefit older adults, carers, post surgery/hospitalisation, disability/illness impacting function

Gulargambone Australia Day Awards Fun Day

The Gulargambone Australia Day Committee invite all community members to join them for the Australia Day awards and Fun Day at the Lions Club riverside park at 8 am on Australia Day.

Breakfast is Egg, Bacon and Damper and is provided free by the Coonamble Shire Council.
Following breakfast the awards winners will be announced and presented by Ms Viv Kartsounis
Viv is the founder of "Shoes for Planet Earth"

After the formal part of the morning there will be a Rabbit Trap Relay (get your teams ready) also Paddy Melon throwing,Gum Boot throwing and watermelon eating competition.

Orana Physical Culture Dubbo | Registration

Orana Physical Culture is a not-for-profit dance-based exercise club in Dubbo and once again conducting classes from St Mary's Primary School Hall in 2020. Its a registered provider of the NSW Government Active and Creative Kids Vouchers and is welcoming new members with two free trial classes.

Registration Day is on Saturday 1st February from 2-4pm at St. Mary's School Hall, Wheeler's Lane Dubbo
