This week Dubbo blood centre is 29 donations short of what is needed to support patients in need. It is vital these appointments are filled to ensure supplies. 

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday are days of particular concern.

The task of creating a healthy school lunch is now easier for Western NSW parents. Cancer Council NSW's newly launched Healthy Lunch Box website (healthylunchbox.com.au).

The website includes recipes, ideas and tips – and it also features an interactive lunch
box builder that enables parents and their kids to plan a healthy lunch box at home, or on the move with their smartphone or tablet.

The Healthy Lunch Box shows parents how easy it can be to add more fruit and veg,
and pack a lunch box that kids will love to eat while encouraging behaviour that has lifelong cancer prevention benefits.

Dubbo Farmers Markets | 1st & 3rd Saturday of the Month

On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month - rain, hail or shine locals and visitors alike get together to enjoy and appreciate the feast of fresher, tastier produce from your local producers. 

Held from 8 am to 12 noon on the lawn of the home of the Dubbo Farmers Market, The Macquarie Lions Park, situated behind the Visitor Information Centre on the corner of Newell Highway and Macquarie Street, Dubbo. 

The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. 

There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more. 

Enjoy our fresh breakfast and coffee options with family and friends before you start exploring the regional produce, sampling and taking home all the goodies you will need to prepare your own gourmet dishes at home.

Dubbo Triathlon Club - Tri Stars Junior Event

Swim, cycle and run at the Dubbo Aquatic Centre and Victoria Park! 

This event focuses on fun, participation and personal achievement.
Events are held on sealed roads under marshall conditions to ensure
the safety of all children. 

This event is for first time participants and experienced, for all fitness levels.
Will be held on Sunday 10th December, 21st January and 18th February.
